Hi, I’m Willy.
As a former beef farmer in the North Yorkshire Dales, agriculture had always been a major part of my life. I loved farming, but knew it was time for a change.
Since getting involved in the events industry, I’ve noticed that the ‘luxury’ and ‘sustainable’ facilities available often fall short of meeting these standards. Motivated by this gap, I collaborated with my partner, who founded a glamping venture in South Wiltshire. Together, we design services that allow us to manage the entire guest experience from check-in to check-out.
We are driven by a shared love of nature and living in the Countryside… We know our business genuinely makes a difference for sustainability in the events space. By choosing Wild Willy Cabins, event organisers can rest assured they are selecting the best sanitation option for their guests and the planet.

Why toilets & showers?
We initially planned to build accommodation cabins under the Wild Willy Cabins brand name. However, we slightly pivoted into the portable facilities market to serve our existing glamping guests and event clients. ‘Wild Willy Cabins’ has since gained a whole new connotation!
The practical elements of plumbing, field-work and utilities are second nature – I enjoy this side of the business as it taps into my skill set from farming days.
Inspo.
- Inspired by the simplicity of Japanese design and natural materials. Plastic certainly has its place in sanitation, but I try to avoid it where realistically possible.
- My Daughters, as always. They also have the final sign-off on many creative and practical elements of my cabins… most recently, in choosing to work with SNOAP.
